Ol’ Savannah on CJLO 1690AM Monday, May 2 from 1PM – 2PM

Coming up on Monday May 2nd, 2011 (Election Day 2011), Ol’ Savannah will join Paul Aflalo’s Edge of the City in the CJLO Studio, PERFORMING LIVE for your listening ears!

Fresh off a mini tour through Ontario and Quebec, Ol’ Savannah is gearing up for their album launch coming up on May 6th, 2011 at Divan Orange. Joining them on at their album launch are Bad Uncle and The Fort.

Also, don’t forget, Monday May 2, 2011 is also Election Day for us Canadiens. So get off your kiester and go vote. No matter who you vote for, it’s important to go vote! If you don’t like any of your choices, or you happen to live in a riding that is definitely going to go for one party. You can always check out http://www.votepair.ca/, and make your vote count!

So, take a break from your day, and tune in from noon – 2pm, on CJLO 1690AM, as CJLO comes back from a mini break, with some election banter, info on what’s happening around town, and a live performance (and interview) with Montreal’s own Ol’ Savannah!

Big Chill Tour Concluded

We’re back in Montreal now after a crazy-filled Big Chill Tour. We had our ups and downs, but all in all it was well worth it and we look forward to getting back to some of the venues real soon! C’est What in Toronto can go suck a big, fat one, but other than that everyone else was more than kind. Come June or July, you can expect us to get back to Wakefield, Ottawa, and Toronto. We are deeply sorry we didn’t make it to Guelph, but we’ll do our best to make there soon as well. Take ……………………………………………… care y’all and see yuz soon!

Wakefield, QC

All started right at Kaffe 1870 in Wakefield on Saturday. Since then, we’ve all been getting our share of food and drink and floor space in Oshawa, Toronto, and London. We’re back to Toronto today for a three-day stint, including a last-minute spot on Saturday at The Dakota Tavern. There, we’ll be opening for Big Tobacco and The Pickers. Take care, y’all! The Big Chill Tour starts March 12 in Wakefield, QC. Check out the other dates as we make our way through Ontario – towns include Ottawa, Oshawa, Hamilton, Toronto, Guelph, and London.

We’re excited to be applying for summer festivals, focusing on the Maritimes. However, we’re also looking around in Ontario and Quebec. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you know of a festival near you and you think we’d be a good fit. We always appreciate any insight we may have overlooked!
