We’re back at it after a 9-month hiatus. Come on out to Sala Rossa on Friday, June 23 as we’re back in Montreal and preparing for a European tour this coming fall. Please check out our “Shows” page for more info on everything coming our way.
Ever since we started touring back in 2010, we’ve made a point to travel hard to bring you our live show and put out a new release (almost) every year. Now, for the first time in all these years we’re going to take an extended break as we wish our very own Bartleby J Budde and his lovely wife, Alice, a happy honeymoon in their new home. That’s right! They’re giving it all up to live in a van. That’s awesome!
We wish you two the best along your travels around the States over the next 6+ months.
Actually, we don’t know who that guy in the picture is. Alice, what did you do with Bart!? Who is that guy!?
For all our friends, supporters, and fans, we’re planning to hit the road again in May 2017. Until then!
Ol’ Savannah’s 5th release, “On a Trip to Normal”, is available now. Comprising of 5 new songs, the album was recorded live at Studio Victor on a muggy Montreal day back in May. Please visit www.olsavannah.bandcamp.com to listen to the EP in its entirety. You will also have the option to purchase digital or physical copies.
Ol’ Savannah brings you “Don’t Let It Reign”, new songs that touch on recent events and social responsibility. Recorded at the historical Victor Studio in Montreal, this EP takes the Ol’ Savannah sound up a step, while holding onto the familiar, front porch quality of previous recordings.
We couldn’t be happier to have The Steady Swagger open up the night in celebration of the release. Please come out and support real, live music at l’Esco on March 18!
Doors 9pm, $10 ($15 with the EP)

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6 at DIVAN ORANGE: Ol’ Savannah headlines the night in celebration of Cold Lake Buzzard’s CD Release. This is the new project of Santosh Lalonde (The Unsettlers and Bad Uncle), a swampy spaghetti western trash blues hybrid that defies easy definition. On top of that, Ryan McNally from the Yukon graces the stage as the night’s opener.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18 at L’ESCO: Ol’ Savannah releases a brand new EP before hitting the road to Quebec City, Rimouski, and Amqui. L’Esco is also celebrating 15 years of biznass all March-long!! Stay tuned for more details.
