Ol’ Savannah are embarking on their fourth year as an established Montreal folk/roots outfit. We’ve decided to take control of recording and producing album #3 (‘Death on the Mountain’ to be released in September 2013), which we’ve discovered requires a good chunk of change. We’re commited to bring you the highest quality product possible, but we need your help to do so.
This campaign intends to raise funds in order to produce the album — recording, mastering, pressing, and overall presentation. The money you donate will pay for professional mastering, duplication, artwork and promotional materials, and distribution. In addition, as with our first two albums, we intend to tour this album extensively. Although on previous tours we’ve never made it further west than Ontario, we’re hoping that participation in the OCFF (Ontario Council of Folk Festivals) will enable us to make our way into the festival circuit of the western provinces. The OCFF is a pricy endeavour for a four-piece band and your contributions will go a long way to getting us there.
